Deconstruction Master

Deconstructing the giants of thought, one by one, through an eye trained on how things come to be. Precision with respect — first raise the opponent to his strongest, hardest-to-refute form, then show exactly by how many degrees, and at which joint, his mighty punch missed.

Deconstructing Nietzsche: The Error of Perspectivism

You think you are “choosing an angle” to view a cup — Nietzsche built an entire philosophy of power on that split-second illusion. The break is at the second step: he mistook the on-the-spot interplay of the three realms for “a choice by the subject,” and the one realm left over could only be called power. ~20,000 chars, one white porcelain cup running through it all.

Hegel ·

Hegel Built the Engine, Then Locked It in a Circle

The thinker who came closest to “genesis” — he built a self-driving, contradiction-powered dialectical engine and rightly held that becoming outranks being. But at the final step he locked this open engine inside a circle bound to complete itself: a pre-given Absolute Spirit, a destined end. SDE cuts three breaks in his circle and opens it into a spiral that never closes. He lacked just one thing: an opening.

Foucault ·

Foucault Reached the Cliff’s Edge, but Had No Bridge

For twenty-five centuries, thought about power asked “who rules.” Foucault flipped the question to “how does power operate,” seeing through the collusion of knowledge and power in a single stroke — but after dismantling the old subject, he built no bridge for “how meaning happens anew,” and so he stopped at the cliff’s edge.

Plato’s Ideas Are Not Recollected — They Are Brought About

Ideas are not ready-made templates the soul glimpsed before birth and merely recollects. SDE follows Plato’s doctrine of recollection one step further: that thing being recollected — where did it first come from? The answer: it is not recollected; it is brought about, right there, in the act of questioning.

Kant’s Categories Are Not A-Priori Moulds but Settled Entanglements

Kant said the twelve categories are moulds installed a priori, stamped onto all experience. SDE asks back: and where did the moulds themselves come from? Categories are not innate iron moulds but crystals settled out of countless entanglements — they grow, and they deform.

Nietzsche’s Perspective Is Not Chosen by a Subject — It Happens

The same fault line as the headline piece, entered from another angle: a perspective is never picked by a subject standing above, choosing from a menu. It is a facet brought about, right there in the seeing, by the interplay of the three realms — the subject is merely a signature left downstream by that very happening.

Aristotle’s Substance Is Not Bedrock — It Is Frozen Genesis

He moved the Ideas from heaven into things and claimed to have found the bedrock of all beings. But “substance” is born a snapshot — a still frame cut from an ongoing genesis. A physician’s son projected the grammar of the dissection table onto the constitution of the cosmos; a lifelong stateless foreigner made classification his territory. Book Zeta stayed unfinished for two thousand years not from laziness, but because the freezing art must melt when it meets flow.

Descartes’ Cogito Is Not a Bedrock Found — It Is the Landlord After the Clearing

The famous fire was not a real burning but a scripted clearing: where it was lit, how far it burned, at which threshold it went out — all written in advance. What is beyond doubt is only “thinking is happening”; the “I” is a landlord issued by grammar and crowned by the schools — the tenant who has lived there longest, so long he has forgotten he ever signed a lease.

Heidegger’s Being Is Not Regained — It Is Forged on the Spot

He declared the West had forgotten Being for two thousand years. But the "forgetting of Being" is not a historical fact — it is a bell he cast: Plato’s recollection scaled up to a civilization. The unfrocked vocabulary, the ever-deeper etymological mine, the "turn" that rewrote a stalled project as destiny, and the anonymous customs house named es gibt — each is brought to light. And Ereignis, the name he found late in life for the ultimate matter, in German simply means "event, happening."

Deleuze’s Virtual Is Not Genesis’s Source — It Is Its Reflection

He was the first to walk up to customs and open the box himself: "these are things I made" — openly admitting concepts are created. Can the sequence still bite him? It can: he took the real "tendency" of actualization out of its present tense, developed and fixed it like a photograph, and hung it in an underground gallery called "the virtual"; then, in What Is Philosophy?, legislated that created concepts are permanently exempt from the court of experience. What is smuggled has retreated to the court itself.

Derrida’s Punch — Why Did It Hit Nothing?

Derrida’s blow shattered structuralism’s center, presence, and stable signified; différance defers meaning forever. The blow was matchlessly sharp — but where did it finally land? Why did it smash structure to pieces yet fail to strike out any new ground to stand on?

Perspective Is Not Chosen by a Subject — It Happens

Nietzsche’s two most explosive lines — “there are no facts, only interpretations” and “there is only a perspectival seeing” — followed all the way down, yield what? This companion essay to What Is Power shares the fault line of “Deconstructing Nietzsche” but enters from the side of “how power comes to be”: a perspective is not picked by anyone; it is brought about on the spot.

Real Critique Is First an Unveiling

In the GPT era, the old critical thinking has failed — its drill of “identify premises, check logic, compare evidence” was built for a single, stable, transparent object. What GPT emits is a manifold-fused artifact, smooth on the surface and composite within. Real critique must first learn to develop it, like film.
